Composed by five boys from London, Martyn Richmond, Tom Burke, Mike Evans, Lawrence Diamond and Thom Rhoades, Citizens! is a call to arms, a statement, a mark in the sand. Their bold statement is that they reclaim pop cause “Pop is not a dirty word. It’s a holy one”. Their debut album “Here We Are” has been produced by no one else than Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand) and is out now on Kitsuné / Cooperative Music. The five London boys are touring in France, England, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Italy and more all through the fall (we also saw them in Budapest during the Sziget Festival 2012)!
